The FEI Commercial Division was set up at the end of 2003 and is responsible for Marketing, Sponsoring and Television matters.


The main goal of the Commercial Division is to support the FEI in protecting and developing the sport.


The FEI events, i.e. FEI World Cup™ in Jumping, Dressage, Eventing and Driving, the Samsung Super League with FEI and the FEI Championships provide an opportunity for new corporate sponsors to join the many others who have already identified equestrian sport as a sound means for international commercial partnership. Companies that partner the sport benefits from a wide exposure through the highlight programmes that covers the FEI World Cup™ Jumping and the Samsung Super League with FEI series.


The core values of equestrian sport are very inimitable and distinctive; Equestrian sport is virtually unique in that men and women compete against each other on truly equal terms. Equestrian sport excites and engages the whole family, as in golf, the sport is a social activity. Involvement in equestrian sport is a way of life requiring immense dedication. The sports unique feature – the cooperation between man and horse – encourages the development of responsibility and respect in young people.


The demographics for equestrian sport are desirable for most prestigious businesses and brands. It reaches not only riders and fans, but also the families and relatives of those involved in equestrian sport. The majority of riders are females between 21 and 35 years of age, but the age group 36-50 and 17-20 are also strong.
