The FIHB and the Swedish Equestrian Federation, organiser of the Stockholm International Horse Show, have reached an agreement to organise Horse-Ball demonstration matches during the show 1-3 December 2006. The Show is the largest indoor Horse Show in the world in terms of spectators per day.

This show hosts every year the most important equestrian disciplines and spectacles. This year in collaboration with the German Equestrian Federation, the Show requested the presence of Horse-Ball. As Germany is the Official Partner Country of the Show 2006 FIHB decided to send 9 German players who will represent our sport and will show a very high quality of game and sportive spirit.

"Horse-Ball is practically unknown in Sweden. With half a million people who ride on a regular basis in this country of which 200.000 members are organised in 1.000 riding clubs there is a great potential for this interesting action sport of equestrianism. We are proud to introduce the sport to Sweden at our Show" said Ulf Rosengren, President of the Stockholm International Horse Show.

"We are very honoured to be present at such a prestigious show" said Eric Bassot FIHB President, "and we hope that in the future we may find a solution to be present in the show with a Swedish Horse-Ball National Championship".
