Removed Twilight becasuse (1) It's YA and (2) it wasn't published in 2011.
Also removed To Kill A Mockingbird which was published long before 2011.

I think The Night Circus is marketed as both adult as YA fiction. It has some overlap, so I wouldn't say it's strictly YA.. But it's hard to determine.

If you look in a book store you would find it shelved in the regular fiction section not in YA. I thought it was YA before I read it, but it's not. I wouldn't be surprised to find this in a library's "bridge" collection (as my public library calls it) or regular fiction novels that teens would enjoy.
The Ballad of Young Tam Lin. I added this one because it's evocative, but out of the ordinary. (Strong tie to the plot, but you have to read it to know that. Check out the first 3 chapters free on Kindle, "look inside.")

Yeah it's marketed as both, but I would hesitate to say it actually is an adult novel. The cover art is great though, it's just a shame about the rest of the novel.

How does a book with NO cover get on this list and gets on the first page? How does it get votes for best cover without a cover?
64 Equations of Life
90 Kiwi and the Living Nightmare
53 Unknown Book 12988363
Just wondering. It just doesn't feel right that it is on the list when there is NO cover. It's unfair to anyone else who does have covers.
As you can see, there are THREE that have no covers, one with no title or author....that are listed here and being voted on. It isn't right or fair to those who DO have covers.
Disclosure: I have at least one book that I created a cover for in the running.

Re Angel, some people will just put their favorite book everywhere, without respect for the parameters. Although I have added MY favorite to many lists, I always look at what the list wants, and act accordingly. Just like hit-piece "reviews," adding to books randomly to lists erodes the value of the community.
