I see there are some books on here that are mysteries with some recipes included in the back. Are these what the list intended? I wouldn't think so but without a description it's hard to tell.

I removed "The Paleo Comfort Foods Cookbook: 36 Everyday Paleo Recipes " from the list because it's just a regular cookbook.

I think those books would be better suited to Mysteries in good taste, Culinary mysteries, Novels with Recipes, Food Related Fiction, and Foodie Novels.
Even though I didn't create the list, I'll add a description and add those books to other appropriate lists. Given the title, I think limiting it to actual cookbooks is right-on.

Removed John Adams, The Collected Short Stories of Maxim Gorky, and Tolstoy: A Biography.
I also removed Darn Good Eats: The Cookbook for Creative Chefs and Reluctant Cooks because it's a regular cookbook.
Per my previous comment, I removed Like Water for Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder, The Chocolate Cat Caper, Death by Darjeeling, Death Dines Out, Death Dines In, Death Dines at 8:30, A Taste for Murder, On What Grounds, Catering to Nobody, Too Many Crooks Spoil the Broth because they are not cookbooks. Before removal I checked and they are all on other food-related fiction lists.

I also created a new list TV Show & Movie Cookbooks because many of the books on this list are not actually based on literature.
The books I moved over to that list are:
-The Portlandia Cookbook: Cook Like a Local
-The Sopranos Family Cookbook: As Compiled by Artie Bucco
-Zuzu Bailey's It's A Wonderful Life Cookbook: Recipes and Anecdotes Inspired by America's Favorite Movie
-The Some Like It Hot Cookbook
There are also a books I added to that list without removing them from this one as they represent both movies/TV and books.

I don't have any of the books on the list, but for the fans of Georges Simenon's Maigret novels, there is a cookbook called Madame Maigret's Recipes by Robert J Courtine which I would recommend. Each recipe has a quote(s) from the books(s) and a note as to what beverage Maigret drank with each meal.
Removed several books by Martha Stone, Daniel Humphreys, and Gloria Williams. None had any literary connection.
