Michaela Angemeer (she/they) is a queer Canadian poet who’s passionate about sharing her healing journey and inspiring readers to spend more time with their feelings.

They’ve published four best-selling collections of poetry including When He Leaves You, You’ll Come Back to Yourself, Please Love Me at My Worst and Poems for the Signs.

Michaela’s newest book, There Is Room for All of You Here, is an excavation of the past that leads to a celebration of queer love. It’s about complicated family relationships, reconciling with your insecure attachment style, finding a healthy love, and building something you hope will last.

Michaela lives in Kitchener, Ontario with their Frenchton, Bea. You can find her at local coffee shops, her favourite wine bar, or in her backyard looking up at the moon.
