Unter dem Thema Kreuzestheologie kontrovers und erhellend ist jetzt die Dokumentation eines Symposiums erschienen, das die Vereinigte Evangelisch-Lutherische Kirche Deutschlands (VELKD) im vergangenen Jahr veranstaltete. Damit wurde der langjährige Rektor ihres Theologischen Studienseminars in Pullach bei München, Prof. Dr. Volker Weymann, anlässlich seiner Verabschiedung in den Ruhestand gewürdigt. Das Buch dokumentiert die Vorträge aus allen Disziplinen der wissenschaftlichen Theologie, dazu aus der Literatur und der Musik. Es enthält auch eine CD mit dem unter der Leitung des Rektors der Hochschule für Kirchenmusik Dresden, Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Christfried Brödel, aufgeführten Oratorium von Henning Frederichs Passionserzählung der Maria Magdalena. Der Band umfasst die Beiträge von Bernd Janowski, Gunda Schneider-Flume, Jörg Frey, Notger Slenczka, Karl-Heinz zur Mühlen, Pierre Bühler, Klaus Stiebert, Günter Bader, Corinna Dahlgrün, Christfried Brödel, Ulrich H.J.
