1. We would like to organise an FEI Level 1 Course in our region. How do we proceed?

FEI COACHING SYSTEM: Questions & Answers

1. We would like to organise an FEI Level 1 Course for Coaches in our region. How do we proceed?
   
   A: To organise an FEI Level 1 Course for Coaches in your region, a formal request by the NF should be sent to the Development Department of FEI at least 6 months in advance. Thereafter the Development Department guides you further with the organisation.
   
   
2. How can the NF contact the Olympic Solidarity for Funding regarding the FEI Level 1 and 2 Courses?
   
   A: Please be informed that the NF should always contact its National Olympic Committee in order to apply for an Olympic Solidarity Fund. The request for funding should always pass through their respective National Olympic Committees (NOCs).
   

3. How to know the entry requirements for participating in the Technical Course for Coaches?

   A: This information is always available under the Development > Coaching > Syllabus Level 1 and Level 2. Apart from the entry requirements you can also find the information regarding the topics covered in the Course.

4. Can we have more than 14 candidates in an FEI Level 1 Course for Coaches?
   
   A: No. the maximum number of candidates are 14 otherwise the tutor will not be able to provide sufficiet time for each candidate in practical session.

5. I was an observer in one of the FEI Level 1 Course for Coaches, I have a very good technical knowledge, Am I eligible to attend a Level 2?
   

A: No. To attend an FEI Level 2 Course for Coaches, the candidate must have attended an FEI Level 1 Course before, should be nominated by the Tutor   to attend a Level 2, submit his logbook duly completed to the FEI.    A: Please refer to the Calendar 2006 under Development > Coaching > Courses.
